Hi, we’re Julia and Julian David. We founded Sonic Lighthouse because we know how challenging it can be for pro audio and musical instrument brands to stand out in a crowded, highly specialized market. Between the two of us, we’ve spent over a decade helping brands in this space tell their stories, grow their presence, and connect with the right audiences.

MEET JULIAN

 

As a former marketing consultant and content manager for Townsend Labs and the former marketing manager of AEA Ribbon Mics, Julian David played a key role in building the brands of companies that have since become household names in high-end audio technology. He has also worked as a content creator for LiquidSonics, as a consultant for MUTEC GmbH, and collaborated with Neumann.Berlin and Roswell Pro Audio. He has helped them create meaningful connections with their audiences in each case through thoughtful strategy, technical expertise, and engaging content. Beyond marketing, Julian has spent years as a recording engineer, broadcast mixer, and producer, which means he understands not only how to talk to pro audio professionals but also how to think like one.

Julia David is an award-winning creative director, brand expert, and designer, bringing a different set of tools to the table. With a film and television background, she has worked with some incredible brands, including Disney, ABC, Sony, and Google. Over the years, she has also collaborated with Julian on pro audio clients like Townsend Labs, AEA Ribbon Mics, and Groove Synthesis, where blending creativity with strategic precision has been key. Whether crafting Emmy-winning visual stories or shaping brands’ identities, Julia has always been driven by the idea of creating something meaningful—something that connects.

So, why did we start Sonic Lighthouse?

 

​Because we saw a gap. Too often, brands in the pro audio industry have brilliant products but struggle to communicate their value in a way that resonates. We wanted to create a place that doesn’t just offer cookie-cutter marketing solutions but truly listens, understands, and adapts to each client’s unique needs.
